These affordable reed samplers take the guesswork out of finding the right reed for jazz and commercial sax players. Each card contains one each of the Vandoren jazz cuts: Java, Java Red, ZZ, and V16. Available in the most popular strengths for alto and tenor, as well as the recently released soprano and baritone, these are sure to be a hit.

Please note: baritone sax comes with Traditional instead of V16. For music store owners, this is a must-have impulse buy item.

This popular line of ligatures keeps expanding to include something for every player.

M|O LITE – For beginning students needing something that responds and resonates but can still withstand the rigors of classroom treatment, this is the answer! Made out of a flexible material, this ligature will hold its shape but still offers Vandoren performance at a competitive price point. It's currently available for B-flat clarinet with alto sax coming soon.

PEWTER, BLACK, and GILDED – The pewter and black (for clarinets) and gilded (for saxophones) offer the right mix of response and affordability, making them great for advancing students and professionals.

SILVER and 24K GOLD – The silver (clarinet only) and gold (clarinet and sax) plated ligatures have proven popular among top professionals and offer a high level of subtlety for the discerning player.

The new zippered neoprene pouches are lightly padded to protect your valuable mouthpiece, but still small enough to fit in your instrument case. A big hit at recent tradeshows, these are available in two sizes and make a great add-on to any mouthpiece, ligature, or instrument purchase.

4) HYGRO REED CASEShrc10.jpg

The Hygro Reed Cases (not to be confused with the Hygrocase) are slim, effective way to store single reeds and prolong their lives. This design is vented to allow humidity to circulate throughout the case and, combined with regular reed rotation, will keep reeds in top performance condition for a long time. These cases also contain a high quality sponge to allow players in dry climates to add moisture and a humidity indicator disc to help keep that optimal level of humidity.

For much less than the price of an expensive custom-made mouthpiece (and a fraction of a vintage "collector's" mouthpiece), the revamped line of V16 gold-plated tenor saxophone mouthpieces offer new variety for tenor players. Digitally cut for accuracy and available in small, medium, and large chambers, these mouthpieces offer the player multiple options for response and tone color.
