Masters Series

The new MASTERS mouthpieces feature a specific bore, a new chamber as well as a new exterior design.
Three models have been developed with facings specific to this series: CL4, CL5 and CL6. They are very easy blowing and have exceptional sound and tuning characteristics.

They can only be used with MASTERS series M/O metal ligature or with flexible ligatures, like Leather or Klassik Vandoren ligatures.

CL4 The CL4 is characterized by a very radiant, clear sound and exceptional intonation. It allows precise, easy blowing and flawless articulation.
CL5 The CL5 is characterized by a round, full sound, exceptional intonation, and perfect homogeneity and projection.

13 Series American Pitch Profile 88

Vandoren has developed the “13 series” mouthpiece specifically for American clarinetists using A440 pitch. Four models have been originally developed with specific facings to this series: the M13, M13 Lyre, M15 and M30 mouthpieces. The “13 series” range also encompasses other models (traditional facings): 5RV, 5RV Lyre, B45, B40, B40 Lyre and M30 Lyre.

Boehm/German System

Versatile mouthpieces, inspired by the German sound: M30D and B40D. This Boehm system model, specially adapted to the German clarinet and the “Reform Boehm”, is offered in two openings: M30D and B40D. The length and diameter of the shank, the bore, the appearance of the tip rail and the external shape are the components of this new concept, which offers a perfect balance between a very warm sound and great intonation. 56 Rue Lepic reeds are more particularly recommended for these mouthpieces.

German D Series
