    After studying a series of cross-sectional diagrams, Denis Wick came to the realization that most mutes are acoustically inaccurate. Through additional research and experimentation, Denis also discovered that hand spinning plays a critical role. With that in mind, all Denis Wick aluminum mutes are hand spun to retain the integrity of the metal, creating the perfect mute sound – embodying Performance by Design.
